Long long ago in a far-away place, I taught computer science at
Kansas State University. When that was about to come to an end, the local
InterVarsity chapter invited me to speak to them. I asked them if they
had a topic, and they suggested "The Relationship Between God and Christ
and Us." I didn't know what to do with that, so I spoke instead on "The
Relationship Between Me and My Computer." The prez at the local Mac club
was pastor of a church in town, and he heard about it and liked the idea
so much that he asked me to present it at his midweek Bible study group.
He had it video-taped, and I got a copy, which I just now got around to
converting to mp4. It's not great quality video, and the were screaming
kids running up and down the hall outside the room, but I still think it's
a good story...
